History

Established in 1975 from humble beginnings with an investment of R5000.00 and a store size of 100sq meters, New Home Furnishers has grown to be one of the largest independent furniture and appliance dealers in the KwaZulu Natal region with a total floor space in excess of 2500 sq meters and an annual turnover in excess of +- R20 million.

Family Business

The store is still a family business where our customers become family and friends. The sourcing of our merchandise still remains the highest priority in terms on quality, price and service. Our staff motto is “Serve and treat the customer in the manner that you would want to be served or treated”.
Because of our long establishment we have become a one stop shop for our customers. We carry everything from “the front door… to the back door” meaning from a kettle at R100 to lounge and bedroom furniture at R60000.00.

Over time our customers or their children have moved to all parts of South Africa, even overseas and they still make “us their first choice store” for their major purchases of appliances, audio, video and furniture. We are stockiest of all major brands of appliances, furniture, audio and electronic goods and over the time built up relationships with our suppliers. Deliveries and service can be arranged throughout South Africa.
